The snow that was predicted for yesterday was disappointing in both quantity and quality. Much of the snow came as ice pellets which formed a firm crust. There is a dusting of powder on top of that. The total new snow was only a few cm. If the crust is firm enough, it may be a fun day for off track exploration. I think the trails could be crusty, and not a lot of fun to ski on.
