I did a short ski in the County Forest mid-day today, and conditions were better than I expected. There wasn't much frozen crust, and the bit of new snow provided a decent surface. Given the weather forecast, snow conditions are likely to change substantially (deteriorate) over the next few days. I'm waiting until some new snow arrives. If you looked at my previous post, I'm happy to report that two chainsaw crews were out on Monday, and removed the fallen trees on Trail to the Summit and Paradise Highway.
