This afternoon I went for a ski in the County Forest. The reading at the snow gauge is 35 cm. Skiing was very pleasant, although there were a lot of trees bent over because of the heavy snow. We did lots of tree shaking and some trimming. We didn't see any other ski tracks, so there is still lots of trail breaking to do. Avoid any wet trails, such as the south end of Trail to the Summit and parts of Quiet Pastures, since the water will be lurking under the snow.
