I skied some of the "trails less travelled" this morning, and conditions were very good. There has been just a dusting of new snow the past few days. The snow gauge has settled from 38 to 33 cm (15" to 13"). Much of the south side of the County Forest has enough snow that the skiing is OK after the end of logging, but between 4 and 5 many skiers might prefer the informal lower, flatter route.
